Safiri treats security as part of child safeguarding: the right person should see the right information, perform the right action, and leave a clear operational record.

Role-based responsibility

School administrators, drivers, conductors, and guardians receive distinct experiences and permissions. This reduces unnecessary access and makes responsibility clearer at each point in a journey.

Verified handover

A guardian's in-app dynamic QR is the primary handover method. A printed guardian QR can be used as a continuity fallback when a phone is unavailable, with an additional staff identity check before release. Every confirmation contributes to the trip record.

Operational accountability

Boarding, alighting, guardian verification, crew assignment, and journey status are designed to create a reviewable chain of custody. The conductor workflow keeps scanning and the final bus sweep separate from the driver's navigation responsibilities.

Resilience and review

The product is designed for intermittent connectivity and clear reconciliation when a device reconnects. Access and operational records help schools investigate discrepancies and improve their transport procedures.
